Available Training

I will be offering training in my shop for an hourly fee. If there is something you would like me to teach you contact me. Fees are per hour and do not include materials. I can teach you the skills to create any of the projects on this site or custom projects that you want to build. I will teach you the entire process from design to finish.

I will also be offering classes in the future. If there is a subject you would like me to teach in a class please let me know.

This is the sample board I created using various woods and chemicals to demonstrate the use of chemicals for staining. The boards used are (from top to bottom) Mahogany, Maple, Cherry, Beech, Red Oak, Pine, Mesquite and Walnut. The Chemicals used are (from left to right) Iron Acetate, Nitric Acid, Ammonium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide and Potassium Dichromate. I top coated with a few coats of sprayed on lacquer.
